So hot! No airco for such a hotel is unacceptable for me. The room was not the cleanest (holes in the wall/dirty windows/..).

We were hoping there would be washing and drying facilities but there wasn't, only a laundry service.

The bar staff went above and beyond to fix the keg issue so we could enjoy a refreshing beer, the location was perfect with everything within walking distance, and the hotel securely stored our bikes overnight.

This Mercure hotel in Saint-Lo is perfectly located just outside the historic walled city. It's convenient to both the railway station and cycle paths. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel restaurant offered an interesting menu, although we chose to dine out. Our bicycles were securely stored in a meeting room on the lower floor. Despite its proximity to the railway, we were not bothered by any train noise. a great choice for our stay.

The hotel's location was very convenient for exploring the surrounding area. It was also clean and well-maintained, which was a definite plus. Additionally, the secure bike garage was appreciated by those who brought their own bikes.

Communication with the hotel staff was difficult, especially for those who did not speak French. Some guests who had issues with their rooms had trouble getting their complaints addressed. The breakfast was not up to standard for some guests, and the bathrooms and rooms in general were cramped and lacked amenities.

I loved staying at this hotel as it had a perfect location close to the railway station and the cycle route, and directly opposite the ramparts with easy access by footbridge. The cleanliness of the hotel and the hotel facilities were excellent. They provided a safe parking space for my car. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff proved to be incredibly helpful throughout my stay.
